The Seminar scheduled to be held on November 21 was cancelled by the host Okinawa prefecture due to concerns about public transport disruptions and ensuring the safety of speakers and seminar participants along with intensifying protests. We apologize for disappointing the applicants and for the inconvenience to related parties.

Okinawa Prefecture presents ” ASIA×JAPAN×ResorTech OKINAWA ” seminar for companies in Hong Kong that are interested in doing business in Japan and using Okinawa as a base to advance into the Japanese market. Okinawa is most famous as a resort destination in Japan, but also has drawn a great deal of attention for its great business environment such as Japanese only special economic zone which offer tax preferential treatment for targeted business and substantial support for strategic industries. Okinawa has strongly promoted its IT industry over a decade and established a Cloud infrastructure. Okinawa and Hong Kong are seamlessly connected to a submarine cable with high-speed, large volume and low cost which is the most direct route to Tokyo. And we have cloud data centers that are seamlessly connected with respective major bases in Okinawa by high speed optical lines, and we offer a risk dispersion function such as backups to these centers for domestic and overseas data.
