IT Advanced Professional Projects
Information on projects for human resources development and general skill improvement in IT companies is provided
IT Advanced Course
Four types of courses are available: “PBL Course,” which nurtures leaders who can supervise projects; “OJT Course for Ready Workers,” which nurtures personnel who can play a core role or become a main strength through practical training; “Preliminary Course,” in which technical elements and business skills and human skills in general, etc. are learned through lectures; and “Course for Qualification Acquisition” (* note), which is a course for people who aim to acquire qualifications. Courses can also be customized according to the needs of each company.
Note) Qualification examination fees are not covered by the course.
IT Advanced Seminar
We offer a wide range of seminars including seminars on the latest industry trends and even seminars for advanced technology to fields of expertise. Seminars are held in various forms, such as lectures and workshops, and we aim to provide seminars with high satisfaction.
In addition, we understand the effect the seminars have on the spreading of IT related companies in the prefecture and the needs for human resource development, and consider to reflect on these effects in the IT advanced courses.
IT Skill Test
The IT Skill Test is conducted once a year for IT engineers in the prefecture. Not only is there a change in skill level of the engineers who have taken the exam, but the managers of their companies can definitely observe the change of the skill level of the engineers.
In addition, the level can be compared to companies nationwide and in Okinawa, and understanding the company’s (one's) own strengths and weaknesses helps companies make their human resources development curriculum.

Projects for Attracting and Revitalizing Enterprises Related to Information and Communication
We support IT companies considering coming to Okinawa as well as companies in Okinawa already.
In order to realize the measures promoted by Okinawa Prefecture, we strive to attract information and communication related companies around the country and overseas and to develop and revitalize companies in the prefecture.
Also, we collaborate with Okinawa Prefecture, industry groups, and IT companies in the prefecture to implement activities for promoting and developing information and communication related industries further.

New Information and Communication Cost Reduction Support Project
About Communication Lines and Communication Cost Reduction
This project aims mainly to promote, accumulate, and revitalize information and communication related industries in Okinawa Prefecture and to expand employment in Okinawa Prefecture by reselling low-cost communication lines to Okinawa-based information and communication related companies using the communication lines between Okinawa and mainland Japan, which From Okinawa implements with a subsidy from Okinawa Prefecture.

IT Shinryo Festival
One of the largest events in the prefecture for a wide range of students to gain various IT experiences.
IT companies and schools in the prefecture exhibit and present their respective efforts, and there is a touch typing contest, program experiences for children and students, and events for children such as an experiential corner using 360 degree VR animation etc.; all of this is conducted to foster interest in those who may become the IT human resources of the future.

IT Junior Training Workshop
About dissemination and enlightenment of IT for students
In FY2016 the “Future IT Human Resources Development and Creation Promotion Project” sponsored by Okinawa Prefecture, in order to foster and create IT related industrial talents for the future, various IT classrooms and workshops for children and students are held for free at various areas in Okinawa Prefecture.

Asia IT Human Resources Exchange Promotion Project
This project is aimed at Okinawa Prefecture becoming a “Smart Hub” as a bridge between Japan and Asia.
- In order to help IT companies in the prefecture and Asian IT-related companies develop business in the Asian market and Japanese market, bridge SEs and management executives are invited from Asian countries, and exchanges between Okinawa and Asian countries are promoted through the implementation of preliminary training, OJT, tours of IT-related facilities in the prefecture, training sessions, and social gatherings, etc.
- We dispatch the personnel of IT-related companies in the prefecture to Asian countries for inspection and to improve their knowledge, and also to try to build a human network including exchanges and business collaborations with IT companies in the prefecture considering overseas development and Asian companies seeking to develop within the prefecture.

Asia IT Business Human Resources Development Support Project
We support the business promotion of IT companies in Okinawa Prefecture toward Asia.
The purpose of this project is to develop, in cooperation with Asian IT companies, human resources who can build bridges between Japan and Asia to promote the development of interactive business between Japan and Asian countries through business development of IT companies in the prefecture toward Asian countries.

ET Robocon Okinawa Contest
Participants from high school students to company employees compete to be the best in Japan with embedding programs in the autonomous type robots in this contest.
The “Embedded Technology Software Design Robot Contest,” which is organized by JASA (Japan Embedded System Technology Association), is a software design competition.
Among the many robot contests, this is a very unique attempt even from a global perspective, where there is competition in both aspects of the modeling review and traveling technology by the programing technology with a focus on the software design.
<Purpose>
An opportunity to experience the enjoyment of manufacturing is provided for young people and beginner engineers of embedded systems to increase interest in the embedded technology field.
In order to advance the application of analytical and designing methods by modeling in the complexing embedded systems development, a competition is employed on the basis of development results and an opportunity for a practical education is provided.

WRO Japan Okinawa Robot Contest
Participates include elementary school students to university students, and they are able to go to the world contest if they become representatives of Japan in some competition categories
The course differs each year according to the regulations of the host country, which is also one of the fun parts
WRO is an international robot contest for autonomous type robots.
Children from all over the world create their robots and compete in automatic control technology through programming. It is also a place for international exchanges, as well as a place to closely experience science and technology by using commercial robot kits to make participation easier.
